GENEROUSLY GIVING

“Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.”  1 Chronicles 16:29

Shiloh Church is the The Most Loving Place Around and has been caring for our congregation, the community, and world for more than 213 years. 2020 has proven to be a challenging year, yet despite the pandemic, the church has adapted and continues to provide in-person and online worship services, Bible Studies, Sunday School and more to allow people to continue to grow in their faith. Meanwhile, we have increased our contributions to our local food pantry and have continued our support of other mission programs.

As we prepare to continue our impact in 2021, we are asking each of you to make a commitment to ReCommit/ReConnect, which will provide support to ministries and opportunities for Shiloh in the coming year. The General Fund meets the needs and touches the lives of every person who walks in the doors at Shiloh and your donations will support the operation, ministries and missions of Shiloh throughout the coming year. We hope you will partner with us as we continue our mission to Make committed followers of Jesus for the transformation of the world.

WORSHIP WITH GRATITUDE

On Commitment Weekend, October 25, we present our commitments to God during worship. This is an opportunity as a congregation to express our gratitude to God and renew our commitment to being God’s stewards in the world.

"Over the years, we have committed our resources to God,

and God has blessed and used them to change lives,

transform communities and renew the church."

3 REASONS TO RETURN

YOUR COMMITMENT CARD

WORSHIP

We believe returning a portion of our financial resources to God’s work through our church is an act of worship. We are thankful for our blessings and acknowledge that all we have is a gift from God. As an expression of worship, we symbolically return the first fruits of our labor as an offering to the Lord.

STEWARDSHIP

Your annual giving commitment helps your church plan ministry in 2021. Please return a card, even if you can only make a limited financial commitment at this time. You can always increase or decrease your commitment if your situation changes by calling the Church Office.

MINISTRY

On Commitment Weekend, October 25, we present our commitments to God during worship. This is an opportunity as a congregation to express our gratitude to God and renew our commitment to being God’s stewards in the world.
