We are looking for a few volunteers to help make sacked lunches and deliver them to the Shiloh community. The lunches are made and delivered to the children in our community that are on the free and reduced lunch program at the local schools. Starting June 2 through August 14 we will make sack lunches every Wednesday at 10:15 am then we will leave the church at 11:00 am for delivery. If you are interested or have more questions, please email Jen Mason at Jen@shiloh-umc.org.
JUNE 21-25: YOUTH WEEK OF MISSIONS
Week of Missions is just around the corner (June 21 – 25) and will be a great time for us to show our love to the community! This will be replacing our trip that was being planned for South Carolina. Each day, starting at 8am, we will have a different opportunity to help the community by partnering with different nonprofit organizations. These organizations are already hard at work but would love a helping hand! This will also be a great time for our Youth to grow their own connection to our community.
If you’re youth would like to attend Week of Missions, please contact Mitchell Cheng at email@example.com.
JUNE 25: SUMC BLOCK PARTY
Join us June 25, 12-3pm as we host our own “block party” that we will be hosting at our church to wrap up Week of Missions with our Youth Group. There will be free food, games, music, firetrucks, canine unit, water inflatables, and more!
